Join our team! The Professional Development Program (PDP) of the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College seeks a service-minded individual who is committed to performing high-quality work as a curriculum developer/trainer on PDP’s Child Support Training and Outreach Project team of seven professionals, developing and delivering both instructor-led, virtual and in-person, classroom-based training.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 

1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a USDOE, or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.

2. Minimum three years’ professional experience preferably in design, development, and delivery of workplace training programs.

3. Strong written communication skills including writing, proofreading, and editing skills with demonstrated proficiency with English language grammar/usage.

4. Strong oral communication and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to speak clearly and confidently as a trainer/presenter.

5. Experience and comfort with delivering training using both classroom-based and live, remote technology-based training delivery methods.

6. Experience designing and writing training/curricular materials.

7. Computer proficiency including electronic mail, calendar, document sharing, document templates and presentation tools preferably MS Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.

8. Able to manage time effectively and deal with multiple priorities.

9. Strong interpersonal skills with strong team and customer orientation.

10. Applicants must address in their applications their abilities to work with a culturally diverse population.

11. Must be able to travel throughout NYS to areas not served by public transportation to conduct work activities.

12. Able to lift and transport training materials (up to 40 pounds) or equipment (laptops, projectors).
